Rhythm ‘n Blues – Soul – Jazzrock – Funk
On the occasion of a Joe Cocker concert in 1998, four anesthesiologists from Ulm had a momentous idea. They took their dusty musical instruments out of the cellar, formed a cover band and called it Level 1.
This former “”party rock band”” has developed enormously over the years and undergone an astonishing musical transformation. The formation, which now consists of ten accomplished and extremely stage-experienced musicians, plays a full-length program – lots of funk, soul, jazz rock, rhythm ‘n blues – with fat brass sections! Songs by Chicago, Tower Of Power, the Blues Brothers, Amy Winehouse, Blood Sweat And Tears, Steve Wonder and many others are brought to the stage with great commitment and lots of fun. A good mood on both sides of the stage is guaranteed. Oh yes – for nostalgics: don’t worry, one or two party hits will also be included.
