Jörg Neugebauer’s poetry often unfolds its effect with a delay effect that can last a second or even a few days. Sometimes his texts seem a little simple or banal at first, but then the insight creeps around the corner: the man disguises himself with supposed simplicity, and often writes with his very own, peculiarly quirky humor, which then unfolds to its full potential when you listen to Neugebauer. He mischievously places his time bombs in the audience’s ear canals. But don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt, it just puts a smile on the face of the listener who recognizes it. In between, Neugebauer can of course also do things differently, namely really get under your skin. This is accompanied live by drummer Georg Daucher and Reinhard Köhler, sometimes on exotic musical instruments, whimsical sounds, completely without the roar of engines.
