Museum Ulm

The Museum Ulm has been under reconstruction since April 17, 2023, and therefore is closed at the moment. During the renovation, you can find the Museum Ulm in the neighbouring kunsthalle weishaupt, among other places. From 14 January 2024, the Lion Man (UNESCO World Heritage) will also be on display there again.

Museum Ulm is a unique universal museum for art and art history, with an outstanding collection of national, international and global cultural importance. Located in a complex of heritage buildings in the heart of Ulm, the museum presents 40,000 years worth of art, cultural and design history. Together with the original building of the Ulm School of Design (HfG), it provides a unique art experience in authentic locations.

While the Museum Ulm on Marktplatz is closed for renovation + refurbishment, the HfG archive on Hochsträß remains open on a regular basis.
