Stadtkapelle Ulm

The Stadtkapelle Ulm is one of the best and most renowned wind orchestras in the greater Ulm area and the Alb-Donau region. Around 70 musicians of all ages are spread across the registers of a symphonic wind orchestra.
The orchestra has been under the direction of the determined conductor Franco Hänle since 2005. For many years, the orchestra of ambitious amateur musicians has firmly established itself at the highest level.
The orchestra also acts as a musical ambassador for the city of Ulm. In addition to major concert events in spring and autumn, the annual program also includes the so called “Paradekonzert” in the Kornhaus, the musical framework of the Schwör celebration on Schwörmontag and the traditional fishing parades, which are held every four years for the Fischerstechen in Ulm.
