Radio free FM

Radio free FM is the non-commercial local radio station for Ulm, Neu-Ulm and the surrounding area. We are a member of the Federal Association of Free Radios (BFR) and have been providing information and music far removed from the mainstream since 1995.
We have over 150 volunteer editors in around 60 editorial teams who cover a wide range of topics and thus provide the diversity that only free radio can offer.
We present young and unknown music styles, are a platform for cultural and social developments as well as for new forms of radio broadcasting and also provide training. Youth work is one of the cornerstones of our station. Thanks to years of cooperation with the Stadtjugendring, children between the ages of 8 and 14 go on air every week in the award-winning program “Mikrowelle”. From the age of 15, young people can realize their potential in our youth editorial team “Jung& Hungrig”.
We have opportunities that commercial or public radio cannot offer.
