Sommerabende Lautern

With vocal music, spoken word, and especially instrumental performances, the Sommerabende Lautern aim to take their audience on a journey into the world of music. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the church “Zu Unserer Lieben Frau” in the small Lautertal valley, the series features a diverse program on up to ten evenings in June and July. The performers include passionate amateurs, semi-professionals, and professional musicians from the region.

This concert series is an initiative of the parish of Asch-Sonderbuch-Wippingen-Lautern and is entirely organized and run on a voluntary basis. Admission is free, and the event is designed to be accessible to all – in the spirit of inclusive, community-oriented cultural engagement. Sommerabende Lautern stand for musical quality, regional diversity, and active civic involvement.

Ensembles with artistic ambition, especially from the surrounding region, are warmly invited to apply for a performance opportunity as part of the series.
