DESIGN ULM
The independent network “ULMER GESTALTEN” was founded at the end of 2011 with the help of the Federal Competence Center for Cultural and Creative Industries and has been crocheting away at its ever-growing and colorful existence ever since, single-handedly and without crutches. Freedom is the network’s top priority: there are no age restrictions, discrimination, or membership fees.
Designers, art lovers, and cultural pioneers from more than 150 local organizations meet sporadically and informally for discussions, information evenings, exchanges of ideas, and joint projects. This brings together art, culture, and the creative industries, public institutions and business partners, as well as interested parties and sponsors.
In addition to their own social media channels on Facebook and YouTube, the creative minds of Ulm operate a website with a blog, an online wiki, and an information mailing list.
