DESIGN ULM
The free network ULMER GESTALTEN was founded at the end of 2011 with the help of the federal government’s Competence Center for Cultural and Creative Industries and has been working on its ever-growing and colorful existence with its own hands and without crutches ever since. Freedom is the network’s top priority: there are no age limits, discrimination or paid memberships.
Designers, art lovers and cultural pioneers from more than 150 local players meet sporadically and informally for discussions, information evenings, the exchange of ideas and joint projects. Art, culture and the creative industries, public institutions and business partners, as well as interested parties and sponsors are networked with each other.
In addition to their own social media channels on Facebook and YouTube, the creative Ulmers run a website with a blog, an online wiki and an information mailing list.
