The vocal ensemble ulmer münster consists of singers from the Ulm region who are members of various choirs and enjoy the quality of ensemble music.

Depending on the style and the work, the size of the ensemble, which has been appearing since 2012, varies and produces two concert programs per year.

So sounded 2012 u.a. a concert program for the Andreas Felger exhibition, 2013 Buxtehude’s Cantata cycle “”Membra Jesu nostri””, 2014 Johann Sebastian Bach’s “”B Minor Mass”” in a much acclaimed performance, 2015 the klangvisuelle Münsterreise “”viewed from the outside”” and Joseph Haydn’s “”Creation”” at the “”Days for Early Music””. One of the highlights was the performance of Monteverdi’s “”Marienvesper”” 2017 within the “”Alte Musik Festival””.

Prerequisite for the participation in the ensemble is, in addition to the vocal aptitude, the willingness to independently compose music texts.
